Michael is a graduate of the Yale School of Nursing and has been in private practice since 2015. He specializes in psychopharmacology for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
SERVICES
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
This services begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation which identifies your needs and outlines your treatment recommendations. I am conservative and judicious in my use of medications. I take pride in assuring that all of my patients understand the purpose and expected benefits of their medication, as well as potential risks.
CLINICAL HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis can be an effective modality to treat mental health and substance problems by itself or in addition to medication. Hypnotic states can help patients enhance their existing (but perhaps forgotten or unnoticed) strengths to help them reach their goals. With this approach, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to your own specific needs.
Medication-Assisted Recovery support
This service is offered to patients who are struggling with substance abuse issues. Medications can help to reduce drug cravings and reinforce your sobriety. During your course of treatment, you will be given all the information you need to make an informed decision about these tools. Through our work together, we will address medication and also reinforce healthy habits of thinking and living that will enable you to achieve your goals and enhance your quality of life.
