Home/Services/Medication-Assisted Recovery

Recovery that holds, long after the cravings ease.

For patients working through substance use, the right medication can reduce cravings and protect your sobriety. Michael pairs it with healthier patterns of thinking and living.

Medication-Assisted Recovery

Medication-assisted recovery combines the right medication with real, ongoing support, so progress lasts.

Substance and alcohol use disorders are medical conditions, not moral failings. Michael treats them with the same evidence-based care he brings to any other condition, and without judgment.

The medication side reduces cravings and steadies the ground under you. Just as important is the work alongside it: understanding triggers, building new routines, and, for some patients, adding clinical hypnosis to reinforce change.

Care is private and paced to your life. Many patients are seen partly or entirely by telehealth, which makes it easier to stay consistent.

Common questions

Good to know

Is this confidential?
Yes. Care is private, and Michael treats substance use with the same respect and confidentiality as any other medical condition.
Can I be treated by telehealth?
Many patients can be, which makes staying consistent easier. Michael will discuss whether telehealth or in-person care fits your situation.
What if I also have anxiety or depression?
That is common, and it is treated together. Recovery is more durable when co-occurring conditions are addressed at the same time.
